GUDDI 1971

Guddi is a 1971 film directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee and written by Gulzar. It starred Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Utpal Dutt.

Guddi(Jaya Bachan) is a full of life, girl studying in school and living with her father,brother and brother's wife.Guddi has an ideal in her life who is none other than film star Dharmendra. Nobody knows this until she visits Mumbai and stays with uncle(Uttpal Dutt), Navin is the borther of her sister in-law(Sumita Sanyal).Guddi discloses to Navin that she is in love with Dharmendra. Unknown to her,Navin is in love with Guddi. He discusses the matter with his uncle(Uttpal Dutt)who is a psychiatrist and understands the matter. Utpal Dutt then meets Dharmendra and requests him to help them.
